FIFA World XI

Well, the other day FIFPro released it's world XI. I had written a bigger post on it, but I accidentally clicked something and the input textbox cleared itself and became uneditable.

Here it is:

Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus); Lilian Thuram (FC Barcelona), Fabio Cannavaro (Real Madrid CF), John Terry (Chelsea FC), Gianluca Zambrotta (FC Barcelona); Andrea Pirlo (AC Milan), Zinédine Zidane (retired), Kaká (AC Milan); Samuel Eto'o (FC Barcelona), Thierry Henry (Arsenal FC), Ronaldinho (FC Barcelona).

Pretty good squad, what do you expect? I'd change, however:

  • Gianluigi Buffon, Goal Keeper, with Yoshikatsu Kawaguchi of the Japanese national squad, made some brilliant saves in the World Cup (either him, or the Togo Keeper - brilliant).

  • Andrea Pirlo - superb, but not as superb as STEVEN GERRARD, of LIVERPOOL.

That aside, I reckon MARK SCHWARZER, MIDDLESBROUGH keeper, as a likeness to actor Jason Statham.

    Schwarzer:

    Statham:

Probably because of the short hair and the prominent Howler's Peak on both of them.
